Soak rice for about an hour in little water. Drain and grind with 2-3 tbsp of water
to a very smooth paste. |

Mix rice paste with ½ cup milk and make it thinner. Keep aside. |

Mix the rice paste with all the milk and water in a clean, heavy bottomed pan.
Cook on medium heat, stirring continuously and get a mixture of creamy
Consistency. |

Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix well for a few seconds. |

Pour the mixture in to 4 silver, glass or earthen bowls. Chill. Decorate each bowl
With few shredded almonds or rose petals. |
