1. Apple Crumble (Baked apple crisp)

Apple (Peeled and sliced thinly) |

Sugar powder* |
1 tsp (5 g) |
Cinnamon powder |
1 pinch |
Custard powder |
1 tsp (5 g) |
2 Marie biscuits (Crushed coarsely) |
2 no (8-10 g) |
Method |
- Cook the apple with sugar, cinnamon (Dalchini) powder, and ¼ cup of water over low heat in an open pan, for about 15 minutes, until excess liquid dries up. Leave to cool.
- Mix the Marie biscuit, custard powder with the apple mixture.
- Transfer to an oven proof serving dish. Place in a hot oven at 200ºC for 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately. You may serve it accompanied with custard.

- Occasionally Suitable for renal failure patients with normal k (Potassium values)
- Unsuitable for patient with uncontrolled Diabetes.
*Should be avoided by diabetics. In place of sugar, diabetics can make use of ‘Sugar free’.
