2. Apple Moose

Apple peeled & cut in to small pieces ½ medium size |

Vanilla essence |

Sugar (Powdered)* |

Method |

Mix the egg with luck warm milk and powdered sugar. Add 2 drops of vanilla
essence.
- Beat the egg with egg beater till light and fluffy. Keep aside. Peel apple and cut in
to small pieces.
- Place apple pieces in jelly moulds (1/4th of mould).
- Pour well beaten milk-egg mixture on it. Cover well with aluminum foil
- Keep the pudding in the fridge so that it gets chilled and set well.
- Do not unmould till it get set.
- To unmould at the time of serving, run knife all round the mould and then invert it
on a plate. Give a slight jerk to unmould the pudding.

Variation |
- You may set the pudding in a ring mould (mould with a hole in the center)
so that you can fill the center with fresh pieces of apple.
- You can set it in a 1 big mould and later you can cut in to 2 or 4 portion.

- Occasionally Suitable for renal failure patients with controlled creatinine and Potassium levels that to small portion (with dieticians permition)
- Suitable for patients who are on hemo dialysis and needs good quality proteins.
- Unsuitable for patient with uncontrolled Diabetics.
*Should be avoided by diabetics. In place of sugar, diabetics can make use of permitted
artificial sweetener.
