Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar with water (you may use cardamom powder while
making syrup to get nice aroma). Keep it aside. |

Boil potato, remove skin and mix with refined flour (or arrow root flour), skimmed
milk powder and butter and knead it in to dough. |

The dough is divided in to small balls which are fried in oil till dark brown, then left
immersed in hot sugar syrup for two hours. |
