Method |

Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar, water and crushed cardamom together.
Remove from fire. Keep the sugar syrup aside. |

Heat ghee in a kadhai add semolina (Sooji) and fry till sooji is light brown and gives
a nice aroma. |
|
Blend apple and pineapple or cut them in to small pieces. |
|
Add fruit mixture to sooji and cook for a while. |
|
Add sugar syrup with cardamom. Cook till the halwa leaves the side of the
kadhai, remove from fire and serve hot. |
|
|
Variation – You can make use of pear, pineapple, and apple, papaya either together or
separate to prepare fruit halwa. |
