13. Rice flakes ladoo
Ingredients Amount
Rice flakes 1 katori (45g)
Sugar (Powdered)* 3-4 tsp (15-20g)
Cardamom 1 (Crushed)
Ghee 3 tsp (15g)
Edible gum (Dink) crushed coarsely 2.5g (Optional)
 
Method
 
  Heat ghee in a kadhai and fry gum, when all the gum has popped, take off from oil.
  Add rice flakes in same ghee and fry on a low flame till aroma exudes, take off from fire.
  Make a coarse powder of fried rice flakes.
  Add powdered sugar, crushed cardamom, popped crushed gum to it. Mix properly.
  Form the dough in to small balls.
  Serve when cool and dry.

*Should be avoided by diabetics. In place of sugar, diabetics can make use of ‘Sugar free’.
