1. Atta Halwa – (Wheat arrowroot pudding)
Ingredients Amount
Wheat flour 1/4th katori (23g)
Arrowroot flour 1/4th katori (23g)
Sugar* 6 tsp (30g)
Cardamom 1 crushed
Ghee 4 tsp (20g)
Water 1 tea cup (150ml)
 
Method
 
  Fry wheat and arrowroot flour in ghee till its light brown and gives a nice aroma.
  Make sugar syrup by mixing water and sugar.
  Add the syrup to the flour and mix well. Cook the mixture stirring constantly, until it stops sticking to the sides of vessel.
  Add powdered cardamom, mix well. Set in mould and serve hot.
