12. Sooji (Rava) Ladoo (Semolina sweet bolla)
Ingredients Amount
Semolina (Rava / Sooji) 1 katori (125g)
Sugar 1 katori (135g)
Cardamom 1 (Crushed)
Ghee 2 tsp (10g)
Fresh coconut (Optional) 1 tsp (5g)
Water 1 tea cup (150ml)
 
Method
 
  Heat ghee in a deep kadhai and fry the semolina (Sooji) and fresh coconut (Optional) on low heat till it turns light brown in colour and gives a nice aroma.
  Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water, stir till the mixture becomes sticky.
  Mix cardamom powder to the mixture.
  Take out kadhai from heat and form the dough in to small balls. Serve when cool and dry.
   
Serving: 10-12 ladoos
