| 30. Khatti Meethi Cucumber Sabzi |

| Saunf (Fennel seeds) |

| Kala jeera |

| Sugar |

| Lime juice |

| Method |
| |
Peel the skin of the cucumbers and chop into average pieces either round or long. DO NOT WASH THE CUCUMBER PIECES. |

Heat oil in pan, once the oil is hot switch the gas off. Add Saunf, Red chillies, Jeera, Tejpatha and Kala jeera. |

Switch on the gas once again, now add the cucumber and keep it on low flame. Cover it with a lid. |

Keep putting a few drops of water over the lid to prevent the contents inside the pan from getting burnt. |

After the cucumber is cooked add Dhania powder, Red chilly powder and stir it. |

Finally add sugar and lime juice. |
