Method |
|
Wash and cut snake gourd into 5cm by 2.5 cm pieces. Parboil with a little salt and water. |

Grind to a fine paste, coconut, coriander, cumin, turmeric, ginger, green chilli and cinnamon. |

Heat oil, add sliced onion, Saute, add gourd ingredients and fry for a few minutes more. |
|
Add snake gourd pieces, a cup of water and more salt if desired. Cook till gravy is thick and gourd is tender. |
