16. Mash Potato (Alu Bhurta)
Ingredients Amount
Potatoes 220 g
Fat 30 g
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 10 g
Coriander leaves A few sprigs
Onions 50 g
Green chilies 5 g
 
 
Method
  Boil potatoes. Peel and mash.
  Chop green chillies and onions.
  Heat fat. Add mustard seeds. When they crackle remove pan from fire and add chilli powder.
  Add chopped onion, green chillies, mashed potatoes, salt and lime juice. Mix well. Serve garnished with coriander leaves.
