6. Oats Dosa |

1 katori (60 g) |

1 tbsp (15 g) |
Green chillies (Chopped very fine) |

Refined oil |
1 tsp (5 ml) |
Cumin seeds (Optional) |
A pinch (1 g) |

As per doctors suggestion. |

Method |
|
Wash the oats and rice thoroughly and soak it in water for at least 15-20 minutes. |
|
When soaked, pour it into a blender together and grind well .Cover and leave in a warm place for 15-20 minutes. |
|
Add chopped green chillis, salt (as per doctor's suggestion), jeera and a little water to make a batter of thin pouring consistency. |
|
Heat the dosa tava (iron plate). Smear with oil. Spread a ladle full of batter from inside to out side on tava. |
|
When the edges turn brown, put a few drops of oil on the sides and on the dosa. Turn up side down carefully and cook dosa on both sides. |
|
This dosa will not be crisp. It will be a little soft and very tasty. |
|
It can be served along with (permitted) mix vegetable or curd or roasted chana chutney. |
|
Note – don't keep batter for too long as it becomes thicker and thicker. |
|
Variation - Chopped Onions can be added to batter. |
|
Serving- 6 Dosa. |
