10. Rice flakes pudding
Ingredients Amount
Rice flakes (Coarsely pounded) 1 katori (45g)
Butter (Salt free) 2 tsp (10g)
Water 1 tea cup (150ml)
Milk ½ tea cup milk (150ml)
Cardamom (Powder) 1 (Optional)
Sugar* 6 tsp (30g)
 
Method
 
  Boil water and milk together. Dissolved sugar in it. Add crushed cardamom. Keep it aside.
  Wash coarsely pounded rice flakes. Soak it in the mixture of water, milk and sugar. Add butter mix it properly.
  Pour this mixture in a greased baking tray and cook it in a microwave at 180°C for 15 minutes (till surface turns golden brown in colour).
  Cool it and cut in to square shape pieces or set it in a pudding moulds. Serve it hot or chill.

*Should be avoided by diabetics. In place of sugar, diabetics can make use of ‘Sugar free’.
