Milk ½ cup (75 ml)
Butter low cholesterol & salt free 1 cup (150 g)
Oats 2 cup (90 g)

  • Bring the sugar, milk and butter to a rapid boil for one minute, and then add oats. Cook until the mixture thickens finally add vanilla essence or chocolate essence.
  • Drop the mixture by the spoonful onto waxed paper (approximately 10 cookies)
  • Let set until firm (set it at room temperature).
Note: It's important that you get the mixture out of the pan as fast as possible or it may harden in the pan.

Variation - The more you make mixture thicker the cookie will become dryer so you can make consistency of mixture as per your choice but do not make it very dry.
