Ingredients Amount
Rice flakes 1 katori (60 g)
Onion (chopped finely) ¼ th katori (50 g)
Cabbage (chopped finely) ¼ th katori (25 g)
Green peas 15-20 peas (15 g)
* Potato (cut into small cube) ¼ th katori (25 g)
Garlic (chopped finely) 2 clove
Cumin seeds ¼ th tsp
Mustard ¼ th tsp
Turmeric 1 pinch
Sunflower oil 2 tsp (10 ml)
Water As required
Salt As per doctors suggestion.
 
Method
  Wash thick rice flakes. Drain the water and keep it aside for 5-15 minutes. The rice flakes will soak very quickly. So keep checking in between. The rice flakes grains should not stick to each other.
  Cut vegetables. Cut onions.
  Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard, when they splutter add onions. Fry for a minute. Add turmeric powder. Now add vegetables. Fry for one minute.
  Add rice flakes and salt (as per doctor recommendation). Mix well. Cover and cook it for 5-8 minutes. Serve hot.
